FM GD Repair provides residential and commercial garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services in Fort Myers, FL and surrounding areas of Lee and Collier County, Florida. Our services include but are not limited to:

All services are performed by licensed, background-checked technicians employed directly by FM GD Repair. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

Estimates and Pricing
Free Estimates
We provide free estimates before any work begins. Phone estimates are approximate and based on the information you provide. An on-site estimate provided by a technician before work starts is the binding quote for that job.
Flat-Rate Pricing
We use flat-rate pricing for most standard repairs. The price quoted by our technician before work begins is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees, travel surcharges, or after-hours premiums within our service area.
Additional Work
If a technician identifies additional issues during a repair, they will explain the findings and provide a revised quote before proceeding. No additional work is carried out without your verbal or written approval.
We never start work without your approval of the price. What we quote is what you pay.
Price Changes
Prices are subject to change without notice for new service requests. Once a quote has been given and accepted for a specific job, that price is honored for that job.
Scheduling and Access
Appointments
When you book a service, you agree to provide accurate location information and to be available at the agreed time or to ensure that an authorized adult is present to grant access and approve the work.
Response Times
Our 45-minute emergency response guarantee applies to calls within our standard service area during normal operating conditions. Response times may be longer during periods of high demand, severe weather, or other extraordinary circumstances. We will communicate any delays as soon as possible.
Cancellations
You may cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment at any time by calling us at +1 (239) 266-7924. We ask for as much advance notice as possible so we can accommodate other customers. There is no cancellation fee for standard appointments.
No Access
If a technician arrives at the agreed time and cannot gain access to the property or cannot reach you, we reserve the right to charge a service call fee. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before leaving the site.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance. We accept the following payment methods:

- Digital payments (Zelle, Venmo â on request)
Late Payment
For commercial accounts with agreed payment terms, invoices are due within the agreed period. Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, plus reasonable collection costs if necessary.
Disputes

Warranty
Labor Warranty
All repair work performed by FM GD Repair is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of service. If a repair fails due to workmanship within this period, we will return and correct it at no charge.
Parts Warranty
Parts installed by our technicians are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by part and supplier. Springs installed by us carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects under normal residential use.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage caused by accidents, weather events, or acts of nature
- Repairs or modifications made by third parties after our service
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues unrelated to the original repair

Your Property
By scheduling a service, you confirm that you are the property owner or have the authority to authorize repair work at the location. If you are a tenant, you confirm that you have your landlord's permission to authorize the work.

- Ensure pets are secured during the service visit
